When I was asked to share the story of my coffee trailer, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly proud and excited about what I’d achieved. To provide you with some background, I was an accountant for many years, and even though I loved my job, I realized I’d always had another dream lurking away at the back of my mind; to own a coffee trailer. And so, after a lot of hard work and dedication, that’s exactly what I did.
The first few weeks were all about getting to know the ins and outs of the food industry. I attended shows and seminars where I could meet like-minded entrepreneurs who were in the same position I’d been in. We shared stories, and advice about how we’d go about setting up our respective businesses. It was really inspiring, and it motivated me to continue moving forward.
Once I had invested in a trailer, I could start customizing it. I chose colors and customized design in order to make it unique and to ensure it would be easily recognizable. There was a lot of paperwork too, but the hardest and also the most rewarding part were the recipes.

Nowadays, I can’t imagine a more fulfilling job than operating a coffee trailer. Making delicious treats and seeing how people smile and get energized when they taste my creations is the best reward. It’s also been immensely gratifying to be able to give back to my local community by attending events that also benefit local businesses.
